getting a lot of work done on the house....getting all the stuff planned out for AnthroCon...other then the "got no money" part i am ok i guess.
Once i get back from the Con, though i got to get me a job...being poor sucked when i was young and it still sucks now...

The Konica C6500 series is truly an amazing machine....wish i would see one in a configuration other than the bottom line basic model...wish i would see ANYTHING from my company in the way of high-end machines; like i excel at..
Spending the weekend at Qat and Ty's - will return to my lair Sunday, where i will glomp a fox i seem to be missing *^^*

None of the guys in the class want to do anything with me...so here i am...bored...
As for class..its ok...i learned a few things. The remainder of the class will be on accessories that i will never see.
...this is an awful lot for the ONE machine i have out there and i will NEVER have more than that...I have plenty of beer in the fridge...wish i had someone to share it with (-_-)

in this troubling economic time we are taking every change we can to fuck our employees so we can continue to live our own lifestyles. Effective immediately there will be no compensation for employees 'on call' for after hours and 24 hour support. Thank you

got my per-diem check for the school today
its a bit over $200 less that the paperwork i was given....you know the per-diem that was to be good so as to make up for having to drive for 16 hours without pay or deal with the 0.32 a mile I'll get for mileage or the time out of the field when I'll make a shitty bonus because of that...

Nobody was drunk or desperate enough to come and talk to me and i don't dance; so i hung out in the background and watched Kaz do pretty much the same.
Going to be a short week - i leave for school for 2 weeks next Saterday...bleah...I'll stop by Qat's and Bunnies on te way there and spend the night.
Duster's pills are not working so now she has to get insulin shots, not to bad.

Wellll...i made the mistake of installing Ubuntu 9.04.
It's a nice OS, and some things really work well...but...unlike what you first see on the forums...ALOT of things dont!
sound, buggy
web cams, completely messed up
Bluetooth - plain broken
Mplayer - buggy
some of these i can deal with, others..i'd like to have
Soooo...time to re-re-backup data and start over...Again!
i will THIS TIME install 8.10, 8.10 64bit, 9.04 ... i have the drive space to do so

Well, went and seen it with mom.
Its a great movie, i really enjoyed it...but...
i wish they would have tied the story up in the end so that they would have restored the alternate time line and also ... Nimoy's performance sucked.
The rest of the characters were great, other than Sarak; that one could have been better.

1 Grandmother passing away
2 Truck having a mechanical issue
3 water pipe under house exploded
4 Tractor broken
5 Computer motherboard went FOOM
6 Sim i live in in SecondLife closed
7 grandfather broke hip
8 callbacks and odd, expensive problems at work
9 Our Ops manager up and quit - another rat leaving a sinking ship (We are all scared)
10 I keep getting into fights with Kazuki
Only thing i have managed to fix so far is the busted pipe, tractor keeps getting more expensive as i dig further into its worn out drive section; but it's still better than a new one.
Computer parts are here, but i don't have time to open the box.
GOT to get the truck fixed this weekend, i have to drive to Chicago and back soon for work.

Well...i am in the chair again...what to say.
Not much going on that I have not mentioned...heading to dads this evening...AND..my IV just broke...EEEK! ...not going to be my day SIGH...
Getting close on the house, I need to start the process of getting with a Realtor.
Local fur will be my new house mate. Sure we but heads on a few things but all and all we get along together very well...Only thing I will have issue with is... >_> sorry Fox, but your messy and you don't put stuff away when you cook....
The thought of having the 15 acre farm sounds nice, but I am not sure if I can handle a place that big on my own – I know Fox will not help with the outdoors hard working farm stuff.
I seem to still be having issues with finding local peers and friends...social websites and all that seem to not be working. Those that I have met are/were all losers.
Shoot!..i should have brought the pictures of the house that still need uploaded to the blog.

So. Working Reallly hard on the house to get it done. This weekend i did a lot... A LOT..
then had some fun with the purple fox relaxing around a bonfire with some booze. Then we had some fun at a little place we know in his car. (*^_^*)
My crown is delayed...again! ... better be in tomorrow like the dentist promised..
Duster has been ill, got skinny and acts like she is starving all the time...blood results are in, she is diabetic...
Work is fucked up...tell me i have to drive to this school 8 hours away and not get paid the time to do so..oh and my hotel check in time is AFTER the first day of class...Yeah...drive 8 hours to be in class at 8am for 9 hours, then check in to hotel? I don't think so
they are moving the school to a place closer - chicago (7 hour drive...yeah thats closer...) - I'll be there next month for 2 weeks..fun..NOT...those things are always boring as hell and i'll have nothing to do after school but be bored.
