CentOS file server is all up and running with permissions and all data has been moved to it !

I still need to set up printing then HAL can be shut down for the last time.
need to finish that as i am going to use the case for a project for QatQat ... an FTP file server, hopefully Linux, at a friends business...lots to figure out...meep...

bought ball joints - spent most of the day putting one in - its cheap junk! the friggen boot will NOT stay on .. fuck that. I am bringing the other one back and getting good ones at another autoparts store. I had a real hassle with the morons at the counter, guy knew less about the computer lookup thing than he did about cars and that's not saying much.

Oh, and sure enough the upper balls joints are really shot! O_o;
I knew the front end was worn pretty bad, i Mean the truck does have 300,000 on it and never had much in front end parts replaced.

Remicade time again.

So...i was driving and heard this noise, i knew what it was; a wheel bearing gone bad...Well, i had a hundred miles to go before the days end. Lucky i caught it when i did, no spindle damage ^_^ Replaced the wheel bearings and i am back up and running. Replacing the lower ball joints this weekend. That poor truck has almost 300,000 miles but is doing well.

Not much has been going on. Working on the House a bit. The Server rebuild has been delayed due to hardware issues and the OS being silly about the Raid1 array i want the data on. I think i have most of the configuration settings down, I just need to get a working DVD rom -_-

The Lair work has been going kinda slow, the weather has Not been cooperating.

Work sucks...I am tired of the move towards more micro-management, tired of hyping shit like the bonus program rather than fixing the real issues the company has. The bonus program is a crap shoot, how much of a bonus you get seems more about luck rather than skill. The cost of living is increasing so much, I am having a hard time of it. I need a more fuel efficient vehicle but i can't afford the payments on one. I need to work on my resume...but there is not much on it...I have 15 years experience in a field that I excel at, but there is not where in this area that i could get a job. I would have to move to a new location for that. I'd like to, but...i need help with that...I got nowhere to go. Perhaps in a handful of years. I need to buy a house, renting is more expensive than buying, but that also will lock me into this area for 5 years or so until i could flip the house and move on...Mebe my Mates live will be in order enough that the possibility of moving closer to him will be an option by then...I miss him a lot...I mean, yeah i have been keeping myself occupied with puppy, but it is nowhere near the same feelings i get when i spend time with my Mate; the sex is nice though (*^_^*).

I notice that i have not been posting much, just not felt like it...

big bad storms...Most of Kentucky is under a state of emergency.

Power went out Sunday morning and is still out.

Ummmm...I bought a new toy this weekend.

Puppy brought over a pawfull of DVD's, it was a mini series anime who's name i can't seem to recall at the moment. It was a about a boys promise to another when they were younger and of love. When they finally kissed during the end i was hit with feelings of longing for my Mate.

Also Hebrenaro peppers are evil !
Puppy brought some, i tried to nom one - it almost killed me +_+
