Will's birthday (^_^) Happy birthday Hun.

Hired a Tech, he starts Monday...oh..wait...no he doesn't as he called me and said he just could not make the commitment...Grrr. Looks like i am going to have to hire in some virgins. I hope my boss understands the level of time it's going to take to teach a tech from day one.

We went out last night to WWE wrestling then out to the club with people from Will's work. I have never been to a live wwe event, it was fun and all. The level of physical skill needed to do that notwithstanding, i was amazed on how horribly fake it is. We had pretty close seats, close enough to want to touch rippling muscles and tight butts. The club was hilarious, it's funny as hell watching drunk straight people stuff dollars down a drag queens bra and really enjoy doing it. Seems there is a universal constant for any Denny's restaurant after 2am, that being that there MUST be at least one belligerent drunk jackass present at all times.

The Blueray is all hooked up and running nicely, netflix streaming works much better on it than the Wii, I can't fault the Wii for that because it was not designed for that purpose. Got a DLNA file share up and running on the server so the blueray can connect to that, too bad is will not mount an ISO file but there is other DLNA software out there that will transcode on the fly.

Work is...well i am setting here at work after hours waiting for my tech to get back, long days...have a hopeful person to hire, will know more after I interview him.

Grandfather did pass away, i now no longer have any grandparents.

Will got promoted!
(^_^) He is now a manager..Woot! we need the money. It will mean putting off a little bit of his schooling but...we need to catch up finantually

Someone pointed out i am behind in posting...not had time or the will.

Will bought me a blueray since our DVD player is dying...not had time to hook it up yet.

Been pulling some long days at work since the Tech i hired up and quite on us. Mom's been away for a week because me Grandfather is in N stage Alzheimer's and is not doing well..

House work has backed up on us a bit so i need to spend the day cleaning...bleah...

Work is...stressfull...Expectations to get soo many things done with so little people to do it. Expectations are very high to know how to do all the things needed...It's hard to constantly not know what you are doing but have to figure it out on the fly. It's a skill not many can do, I am proud i have this ability but it's wearying to have to use it every day, all day...long days...

I am worth more pay...

yup, it's Remicade time.

No insurance papers yet, and my last remicade treatment happened in transition and is not covered under any plan..Yay! for a $6000 bill...

Work is busy but doing OKAY, other than a printer problem i could not solve.
I decided I am getting the new service car, it's a 09 honda Fit (^_^) Nice car but i don't know how my boss manages to find cars with no cruise control...

Taxes are figured..i own $900.

The project i was working on for a new server, i am scraping

I fried a powersupply and one of the drives. Replacement costs plus the rest of the parts to finish it are not worth it, and the project itself was not working out the way i wanted it to. I'll just save the money and get 4 large Sata drives to put into the old server and be done with it.

Yay! 3 day weekend. The service department has been working so hard and pulling so much overtime that we get today off to burn comp time.

Wills Samsung Impression is a piece of shit. It keeps having issues, and this is the 3rd one he has gotten replaced. We went to the service place Saturday and the new replacement phone was doing the same shit the old on did later on that day!

Meanwhile...i broke my Pixi+ at work -_-;
It was in my pocket and i was carrying out some equipment, slipped a bit on the ice in the parking lot and cracked the touch screen. The phone works fine but for the touch screen...which would cost at least $165 to replace. I was up for an upgrade so i replaced it with a Palm Pre Plus. Spent the past few days trying to get it to work with our Exchange server (failed just like i did with the Pixi due to M$ issues) and getting the home brew installer program to function. Web OS Quick Installer, that is; the Novacom driver did not function, finally found a site that explained that the new version is shit and roll it back to an older one...Poof! all is well.

I got a cheap motel room, not a dump but not the greatest...trying to keep expenditures low and such.
Will enjoyed the whirlpool bath tub, so did I, then we put on our spiffy cluben stuff and found a nice Vietnamese restaurant. The food was gooood. Back to the room to meet a friend for a while. *^_^* then off to the club. I had a great time, Will had a blast. Champagne and a kiss for midnight, Denny's at 1:30am then back to the room.

So, here i am at a motel 6 in effingham Ill mostly bored...too many rate updates, service calls and installs way the crap up here so i am pulling an overnight stay to get them all done. I realllly hope this means we will get out at noon on friday like we are supposed to. I want to take my Wolf out to a cheap motel, catch a cab and go tie one on at the club. I have never been to a new years party and this will do for now. I want a kiss at midnight from someone who loves me.

finally got all the holiday shopping done...

work is busy since we are in the middle of the first rate change...one more in may.

BF has passed his courses at school and is prepping to start the next semester

okay, so i set up the Wii-fit and we all had fun doing our first learning workout...ummm..ow..that thing really works your muscles.

Its a really neet piece of technology and i can see why it got good reviews. It's going to be a fixture in our lives to get fit!
...and play games with...LOL
Next i'll set up the DDR pad as see who bad i am at it.

The living room is all back together. Most of our shopping is done.
I have a lot of work to do this weekend....maintenance on Wills' truck and cleaning up the house.

I want to update this little blog thing more often, but it gets pushed into the background for more important things. I mean, heck this thing is really only for me, its not like its going to have any lasting impact or web traffic.

School came and went, i learned a lot.
back to the grind stone...bleah.

We went and saw Burlesque, good movie. what is Cher made of? still got the pipes but the rest of her must be plastic at this point.

Moms early christmass present is replacing the carpet in the living room. She is having someone over and wants to not have 30+ year old smelly nasty carpet. sure when we got the carpet up, it was clear the subfloor needed replacing, i had already planned on replacing a few boards but...it was pretty nasty. I have been working on it after work until bed time and yesterday afternoon i completed the project (less moving in furniture). Mom and Will helped a lot and the local fox helped as well. Having him over for thanksgiving since he has no where else to go. Unfortunately he got into more rum that he should have, by a long shot; got stupid drink and it will have ramifications in our threes' friendship...i hope not though, i like the little guy..well i have furniture to move.

...so good
School is okay, could do without some of the juvenile nature of most of the other techs there.
Boring...nothing to do, nothing on the TV.

We are heading out to a bar and grill for food and booze tonight; the guys will be heading to a bewbie club after, i will not.
