Just a quick video walk-around of the church we are going to have our ceremony in.

So...the software that this blog is created on is B2Evolution.
It's open source, free and have been around for a good long time.

Up until now, upgrading has been a somewhat manual process of downloading the source and replacing the entire websites code with the new stuff then editing some code to point it to the database and also editing the code you have made configuration changes to.

Now there is an experimental feature that you can upgrade the code from inside the back office log in without the need to muck around in the SQL or the codebase.
It worked like a a charm.

I'd rather not say much about crimmus, i don't really much care for it. It's a holiday twisted around all the wrong reasons.

Been awhile since I sat and type in the chair.
Had to do my treatment on a Saturday because of the holiday and work schedule and such.

I don't much care for the season, its hard to get into it when you have no money all the time.

Been working on and thinking about the wedding next year. We did find a small open church that may be willing to have us on the cheap.

Have not gotten much done on the house or outside, everything requires money.

We are getting by but I'd rather be able to pay our own way. I need to find a descent job that has benefits. I look all the time but nothing worthwhile seems to be out there.

So, went RV camping with dad, step-mom and Will. Was nice and fun too.
It was very nice camping weather, chilly at night, great for campfire and passing around a little wine.

October 28th of next year.
I'd like it to be a Celtic / Furry theme but time will tell.

We have been together for a long time now, seems reasonable to take the next step.

Besides for all our differences and the parts of us that get on each others nerves, I love him.

...I had a running motorcycle

Well...I have been tinkering with the bike. FINALLY got it to run ..for about 3 seconds...but it was that beautiful slow and low throaty Blub Blub Blub Blub.

To do this I had to bypass the fuel pump relay and hot run the fuel pump for a bit - there was ZERO fuel in the line still. After the 3 seconds I hit the kill switch and ran to get my phone but could never get it to fire after that. 30 year old electronics are a bit wonky, fuel pump or relay or ignition module is not working right.

While tinkering I was finding a cover here, a bolt there, wire harness exposed there...and i was putting all that back in place but as i starting digging into the issue; sure enough I was removing all the things that I had put back. Walking in my brothers shoes in tracking down the issue.

On August 30th my younger brother took his life.
He will be missed but not forever, nor forgotten.

Whatever dark place led him to that end, I know not nor will I understand.
I love my brother and he was a good man. Many many more people than I would think would show up at my own funeral did so at his to share grief and joy at all the things he gave and taught them.

Among a few things dear to heart that exude David's persona, which I'll post later once I get a picture worthy.; I inherited a motorcycle he was working on.

I have been wanting one, amusing I can get this one running on a budget, this will be the one I learn on so if anyone can offer assistance in knowledge and teaching now will be the time.
