mower exploded...can't catch a break

Put new blades on the yard tractor - blades are expensive! nearly $50 for mower blades...mowed for about 45 mins and the deck went boom.
yep, trashed idler pulley, killed the belt also...and the spindle bearings sound like crap.
3 years old, I keep it clean and washed...now needs $200 in parts.
I may be able to rebuild the spindles if i can get the bearings out, might be able to match up the idler pulleys at a supply store. Hopefully I can find better pulleys, the OEM ones are junk. but it will still run $100+
