GD that's a lot of work

Compacted clay weights 2970 pounds per cubic yard.
I dug a hole in the yard 10 foot by 15 foot by 5 foot deep.
I flipped the entire thing, put good dirt on the bottom of the hole, started layering clay mixed with organic material and sand, built it up and added a curtain drain...
Lets do some math.
10x15x5 = 28 Cubic Yards x 2970 pounds = 83,160 pounds = almost 42 tons
...by hand...shovels, pick axe, wheel barrel etc..
Broke a shovel, a hoe and a pick axe
If it rains and the yard turns to shit again for months on end i swear it's time for some god damn dynamite
