This weekends project....
The Wheel bearing hub assembly in Wuf's car on the passenger side is noisy...that means it's dying.
Anyway..i ordered some online from a descent company for half the cost of the junk at the auto store.
This morning I replaced the noisy one, not to hard a job. I will go ahead and replace the other side once the back ordered sway bar links come in the mail.
While I was inspecting the issue, i noticed that the boots on them are failed.
We had loss of coolant and eventual overheat.
Parts ordered online and hoped they are the correct ones.
The job itself was not too bad and so far the car is running fine now other than the bearing hub issue; which is the next part to replace.
Say what you will - Amazon is for sure killing brick and mortar stores but....
Presto is who makes the expensive Orville Redenbacher popper - Presto brand was like $15
AT-205 is $9 and not sold in auto stores because it apparently actually WORKS and the stuff the auto stores sell only works so long as you keep buying more and adding it every oil change (I'll let you know if it actually seems to work)
2 foot patch cables were dollars each - 10's of dollars in the store
Feeler gauges were $7 and the store price was twice and only has either SAE or Metric and this kit is both
Bosh air filter was under $5 , store is $20
The bad part is that only the AT205 was made in the USA, the rest is all china :/

..
.
Working in the supply right now, should be good to go.
Meet HAL5.
The old server is old and out of drive space. I have had this guy for awhile but life stuff kept me from splurging on parts to get it back into production.
A good friend of mine recently handed over some computer things and stuff and it gave me enough drives to get this guy up and running.
I managed to purchase a memory upgrade awhile ago but drives were what I really needed.
I wanted to drop in 4 2TB (the largest this raid card will address) drives but that will have to wait still.

Okay, so the pit is not deep enough for the new pump...
Sump pump in crawl space died - replacement aquired.
...been under the house every day when i come home to adjust the float. I dont think the well is deep enough nor wide enough but I'll keep tweaking the float a few more times.
I think the well needs redone though.
I decided to make chili and since it was a nice day and I have not seen the sun much; I did it outside.
Have a look!
Got the deck all cleaned up and put away for the winter. Its mostly in great shape but needs a little work with the bolts that hold the belt cover in place. Snow plow has been attached. Now...its not that useful against the sheet of ice since the skidplates just ski over it but it's called a snow plow not an ice plow. The tractor is heavy enough though to bust up the ice just driving on it. I can see that I do indeed need to do some work to the front tire bushings when I pull the cowell off and work on the stearing this spring.
*sips*
So...the truck transmission is in and working. I would like to thank those that assisted...Joe, Kodi, Fox.
It's been stressful at work. Working late, running at %110 to try and get things done. No one has any experience with what they are doing since we lost our entire workforce and have all new people to train. I am spread very thin as I am the only one that knows everything.
Wuf got me a bunch of sweet shirts and things for the holiday, they have snarky sayings on them that I love.
Weather can't make up its mind and I am way far behind on some projects I wanted to get done.
.
I have managed to get all the connections undone, all the lines unhooked and all the bolts loose or out with the exception of the dip stick tube.
It's nearly ready to drop the dead trans out. If all goes as planned I should have it totally removed this weekend. Possibly even the replacement partially put into place.
