the company i work for is absolutely headed right in the shit can.

We have been told the company owner doesn't care bout the branch offices.
Our new director of service is going to be firing technicians based on their response times even though the bonus program is based on first call effectiveness. You can't have both, i have a VERY high first call rate but not that great response time.

He is going to cause (in the opinion of every sales person in the office) the loss of our biggest customer and a world wide business; and piss off our second largest customer.

Every single sales person in our office is applying for jobs elsewhere.

he has cut off all career paths for us, its all now handled by phone and remote desktop from the main office.

This is fucking bull shit

Oh, lets see...out of the 3 service techs, i was the only one at work all week...so..yeah work was totally fucked up...

Theeenn the heater broke again so i spend Friday night outside fixen it...seems the the reason for the unit to be blowing the heat strip relay was the circuit breaker (hopefully *crosses talons*)...when he put in the 50amp contactor instead; it blew the circuit breaker apart. The breaker was older than dirt, so i replaced the entire breaker box.

Theeen we took apart Joe's motor 'cause all the coolant wound up in the oil...fun...it's still apart - we found the cause. The timing chain blew a hole in the timing cover into the water pump...

Theeeen Golide's laptop needed Vi$ta put back on it...it was not playing nice...

Back to work today and i am still Just as busy -_-

The good thing is, i had a really nice time with Goldie *^^*

Annnnd...Foxxy got the plushie i sent him (*^_^*) Yay! he likes it. Even took it with him to the diner

it started with me at home waiting on the heater repair guy....again...he replaced the same part...again...only with one rated at a higher amp rating so perhaps it will not burn out the damn thing...then it was time to get the day started...via a visit from puppy. So he was my first service call (*^^*)

Then the crap of work happened ... god i am starting to hate that place...

Things got better 'cause after work i got to um...talk...to Connor Fox *^^* .. and then we just talked to a while and also just had skype open while we did things.

in the future we will settle on an online game to play together ... looking at Call of Duty 4 .... I'll suck at it, but thats not the point.

Connor your X is a bloody friggen fool for talking to you like that...

My relationship with Connor Fox is growing - but we have both been un-mated for to short a time and know this...So we will give it a few months.

He is really sweet, into a lot of the same..mmm...kinks i am. Fits that attraction to the younger men i have only he is attracted to the older men - Yay for me!

Mebe it will go somewhere, mebe it will not...i am torn ... future up near Qat and TY? Future with Foxxy? Future alone? and what of my dear friend Scott, my feelings for him did not just vanish...

It would seem that as of late, my entries into the blog have been not as frequent.

I shall no doubt make up for it by this wall of text forthcoming.

An interesting thought, sounds fun - more so if i knew these people. Thats not entirely true as i am here with Qat and Ty. (^_^). I have been here since Wed night, i really love these guys and am happy that they now live only 4 hours away. I am sure that i will spend time up here with them on a regular basis. `i may yet find what that which is missing from my life.

i am typing this on a mac mini - i don't like its keyboard at all...oh my
Qat is next to me typing on my laptop and being creative, Ty is on the other side strumming lightly on his guitar. It makes me blurry eyed (:^_^;).

Soon the time will come for me to find a lair of my own - as is before, i still wish i had the financial where with all to afford to make the move to live closer still to them but four hours are infinitely better than a thousand miles away.

i ran out of ideas already...oh noes!

i am a watcher it seems, watching others from a distance. Both content in what i learn from observation and yet longing to be in the mix of the things they are experiencing. As i set here my eyes drift to the others and i watch them do their things, I listen to the conversations of the ones speaking. Grabbing bits and pieces of what they are talking about and wondering what kind of people they are. Would they be the type of person that would become a friend to me. A new person arrives, another; hello new person to observe. No..observation denotes that i would learn something. It sounds to be a part of the scientific process...no i feel i am a watcher. Yes, it's true i do learn things from watching but not to the level i think that one would gain from a more scientific or cerebral. If its a quality i still posses, i don't feel i utalise it anymore...not to the degree that i once did. No, i don't still have it, it's just not used anymore, not to the degree that i once was capable of.

so like copiers take hard drives - standard ones.
one of mine takes 4 of them. Now i have had this goofy issue with scanning that required me to replace them. You have to replace all 4 of them and they need to all be raw drives. I did so and brought the 4 home with me (there is no warentee on them and i get nothing for turning them back in) all 4 check out in diagnostics with means the scanning issue is likely still not fixed but i now have 4 80Gig drives for free!

actually lots of the drives i have used in places like my server are copier drives - copiers don't have bad sector maping so if one comes up with a bad sector it has to be replaced, i just mark a few sectors before and after the bad spot and some of these drives have been in a server, on 24x7 for a few years without ever failing.

Fuuuuck!

yeah...and then Goldie gets the Mono so the plans for the guys to come down have been canceled.

Qat and Ty are on the road to Ill. i hope they are safe and doing ok.

Goldie was over all weekend, we worked on his laptop. Managed to remove vista and replace with XP..All is fine things run great...except for secondlife -_-....

Hopefully some more tweaking and it will run better or i'll have to re-install vista and do a lot of picking at it to make it not suck...

Also did several hours of shopping and mall walking, got a lot of shoping done and i picked up a shiney for my collar...I'll post a pick later

yup ... 300,000 miles ... thats a lot of zeros and they looked odd all lined up on my trucks odometer.

normally i set in the chair and compose something to put in here. This time i spent it chatting with a new friend i met in SL.

I'm still sad and a little frumpy; which i would expect.
I think i'll put my anklet back on and put the original tag on it, the one with a small paw on it.

My room is still quite the mess...i should do something about that.

ok, so the LCD is fully repared now and Bill said i could just have it.
I installed it..decided i did not like the way the desk and it played together so..reconfigured it.

That means getting behind the beast that is my desk...i luff the way it has wheels!

ok so replacing the caps on the powersupply only made the monitor work for a while.
I can hear the starter transformers scream when you turn it on, then the backlight goes back out..

Well i ordered a new powersupply from moniserv.com and it's back up and running for $80
