The living room is all back together. Most of our shopping is done.
I have a lot of work to do this weekend....maintenance on Wills' truck and cleaning up the house.

I want to update this little blog thing more often, but it gets pushed into the background for more important things. I mean, heck this thing is really only for me, its not like its going to have any lasting impact or web traffic.
School came and went, i learned a lot.
back to the grind stone...bleah.
We went and saw Burlesque, good movie. what is Cher made of? still got the pipes but the rest of her must be plastic at this point.
Moms early christmass present is replacing the carpet in the living room. She is having someone over and wants to not have 30+ year old smelly nasty carpet. sure when we got the carpet up, it was clear the subfloor needed replacing, i had already planned on replacing a few boards but...it was pretty nasty. I have been working on it after work until bed time and yesterday afternoon i completed the project (less moving in furniture). Mom and Will helped a lot and the local fox helped as well. Having him over for thanksgiving since he has no where else to go. Unfortunately he got into more rum that he should have, by a long shot; got stupid drink and it will have ramifications in our threes' friendship...i hope not though, i like the little guy..well i have furniture to move.

School is okay, could do without some of the juvenile nature of most of the other techs there.
Boring...nothing to do, nothing on the TV.
We are heading out to a bar and grill for food and booze tonight; the guys will be heading to a bewbie club after, i will not.

We went camping this weekend.
It had fun and not so fun moments.
We had a little black fox along, a local fur; we had some fun together *^^*
Will got a few things off his chest and we had a nice couple of talks about it.
The not fun part was that i tried some pot for the first time in my life. NOT a good experience.
I should have waited for my Mate to arrive there but i did not. I got paranoid and freaked out on the Fox -_-
It felt like i had lost control and i did not like it. somewhat disconnected from my body, the world moved in stop motion almost like strobe effect. It was very disorientating and i puked like mad. I saw odd things when my eyes were closed and opening them seems to snap my brain into "scared as shit" mode.
It is not likely i will ever try that again.
Once the icky effects passed, the other effects people say are good i did have as i got horny as all heck.
I leave out for a week long school in Georgia this weekend, i am kinda looking forward to not being at work...

Are you fucking stupid? are you that jealous someone would leave a party with us and not you? or were you passed around to many times in the fox room, i heard the diseases you get there can eat your brain.
You call my BF a sexual predator, you call him dirty and you seem preoccupied with our sex lives. Word is your more of a slut than any person i have even had dealings with. I know a coward when i smell one, and you reek. People tell us to watch out for you because your crazy and always carry a gun. Aim well and shoot to kill because you are dealing with someone whom spent a great deal of my life in extreme pain so wounding me will not stop me. As a country boy you should know better that jack around with one of the same. If i did not have to go off to a school, i would be there at the next fur function and you would get your ass beat in the middle of the floor. period.
I have spoken directly to those you have accused us of doing ill will towards and they all same the same thing, your a petty drama whore fag and they don't approve of you in general. Sucks to be you, especially when i ruin your face.

Work is still stressful...bleah
There is a local fur who needed a break from where he was to get some perspective and much needed letting loose. However...aparently some people in the fandom have it out for me and Will. The guy was messaged saying that Will is a sexual predator and i was in one it, that were are just cruising for young ass. That really pissed me off but the guy decided to come over. He had a good time and was able to get the perspective he needed and relaxed. We had a nice picknick under the stars, spent some time at a park and got a little drunk. It was good for us all and i needed the diversion as well (and no we did not yiff the little fox).
Thanks for coming over Fox, looking forward to having you over again some time.

my boss is nuts and the place has a hight level of toxicity.
Pushed beyond the breaking point.
over worked and WAY under paid.
wrecked my truck because i am soo tired, got speeding ticket because i am falling asleep at the wheel.
I can't work 10-11 hours straight all the time, busting my ass for 16/hr but only 8 of it is paid because i am now on salary.
I have to leave sometimes, particular lately, at closing time to take care of paperwork and all the stuff that goes along with a new car and i get pulled aside and told 'sorry about your luck but your personal life can't get in the way of work. From now on schedule your after working hours times you need for personal time with me and put it on the board'.
I am not leaving early, just on time...What The Fuck!

I got a lot more than i expected for my birthday. some Really nice and thoughtful presents and a little cash.
Some of the cash we used to go have a night at the club, where i got a good buzz on (*^_^*)
Then we went to the movies the next day after buying a car, Resident Evil 3D is fun!
On to the car. I took a few picks of Will's truck and of my new ride.
I found a used 2002 PT Cruizer with only 31,000 miles. I'ts a 2.4 Liter with a manual trans.
Used to pull behind some old peoples RV for vacations and stuff, it's in VERY good shape. The price was really good too; at $8700 it was a steal. I was able to add a 3year/35,000 mile full factory warranty and a Zxilon interior/exterior coating for $255 a month for 60 months. My needs for vehicle have changed; They had a really nice Ranger 4X4 there and i would have loved to have it...but..I just don't need a truck as much as i did in the past. Wills truck has plenty of pulling power and a hitch if we need it; both our cars have hatches with folding seat so we can still do a fair amount of hauling. Gas mileage on a 2.4 liter is awesome; driven it 70 miles so far and the needle has barely moved. I think i did good.
Not really sure how to figure this into my budget but it will have to work, lower gas cost and the low payment will sure make that job easier.

The car we got Will is a piece of shit.
It's a money pit and NOT in good shape by any means.
Now the transmission is going out, we are cutting our losses and just handing the thing back to the car lot.
So...We found a really nice 2001 Ford Explorer Sport at a good car place.
It's in nice shape and comes with a warranty

removed all the guts from the power supply, removed the guts from a normal 450W supply and mounted it inside the empty cage of the original supply. Plenty of room in there and still use the indestructible metal fan that was in the original.
took the back off the original drive cage, removed some standard drive rails from a sacrificial case and mounted them inside the original cage. I would rather have drive cages that actually fit the original box but they don't seem to exist. plenty of room in the back of it's cover to place some fans and an intake filter.

So, we went to Nemmie and Savanni's lair to help with a project he is needing assistance with. fixing up the roof and adding insulation to his club house he is converting into something more livable. We got a good amount of discovery work done and will need to re-wire a few places before blowing in insulation. As for the toys! they found a nice 12 inch dutch oven for me *purrr* now i can go camping again. Also i got a nice utility belt for cooking and a vintage Klingon makeup kit. Lastly, a series 300 (i think) AS/400 server. Being the mad computer scientist i am, i gutted it today and did some modding to place my server into it. (^_^)
Got the unit all cleaned up, removed it's mobo tray and hacked in a standard ATX tray. I'll need to get some nuts and bots to mount it and do some more modding for the power supplies. I'll need to come up with hard drive trays that fit into the mounting racks of the 400. Then it will be time to place stuff into it.
I know Will did not enjoy himself as much as I did but i love him dearly for spending our anniversary with my friends.
